Newest digital abstract art piece. I’m torn because the resolution of this post doesn’t do the image any justice because the original is huge. Turned out pretty cool though, enjoy!

Here’s a reworked digital version of one of my Cherry Blossom pictures. The winds have taken most of the petals with the 40 mpg gusts we  had last night. Winds like these only usher in more wind as we welcome spring around here.

It’s starting to feel all wintery around here so I thought this would be appropriate!

I was inspired to make this by an older fractal image I made in photoshop. Just cranked this one out tonight.

Here’s a new digital abstract piece I produced this weekend. It feels kinda good to be delving into the digital art since I’ve been doing so much photography… hopefully I’ll keep it up!

I had fun making this image with a Wacom tablet and a cool brush in Photoshop. Mostly playing around but I think it turned out pretty good. The original image is huge and the detail is amazing! This is the last post before I head to Jamaica for a family vacation. Stay tuned for lots of tropical photography when I get back…

Spirals

I named it “abstract mural” because I could see this image on the side of a building somewhere, possibly near a pool. The detail is amazing but this size doesn’t do it justice;  it definitely needs some room to breathe.

I made this in 2001 but wanted to re-introduce it now. The original gallery picture doesn’t really do it justice. Sure wish I remembered how I made it Hope you like it.

Disk Spinner

I was just messing around with my wacom tablet the day after I got it and  discovered a cool effect using some different brushes. Still trying to utilize it in some of my new work. I like the way the colors came out in this one.
