Desert Bloom

Here’s a reworked digital version of one of my Cherry Blossom pictures. The winds have taken most of the petals with the 40 mpg gusts we  had last night. Winds like these only usher in more wind as we welcome spring around here.

Here’s a shot I took at the new City Center in Las Vegas looking east towards the Blvd. I processed it with HDR to bring out some extra details.

This is a rework of an old flower shot I like. Just wanted to add color, texture and contrast to draw you in more.

Here’s a picture I took on my way through a ghost town called Goldfield Nevada. There was not much going on in this little dusty town which was once a gold town mecca during the boom of the early 1900’s. It was once the largest city in Nevada around that time. I felt that it needed some heavy digital rework to try and cheer it up. Nostalgic I think is the best euphemism I could come up with right now.

Here’s a digitally reworked picture of my Nephew Bradley from 2007 when he was out for a visit. The picture was out of focus and over exposed so I had a lot of work to do, but it turned out pretty good in the end. I got some great pics of him while he was out here; he’s a very cute kid!

Kind of a corny name, I know, but it’s just what pops out at the time I do a file->save as. This is part of my “reworked digital” images. The original picture was taken with my Nikon 5400 in San Francisco a few years ago.
